I went to Golfsmith last night to get the grips that I had purchase on a previous deal put on my clubs before golf season gets going in Michigan. I was expecting to pay $3 a club, which is their normal rate, but the guy working the counter suggested the "Golfsmith Clubvantage" [] card.

Basically you pay $50 for 28 club regrips (service only). I'm sure the thought process is 14 clubs per person, so grip changes for 2 years (which is how long the card is good for). There are some other things included with the card, feel free to read about it in the link. The price of the card goes down to $30 if you buy a club at the same time you get the card. So I went over to the used club bin to see what the cheapest one I could find was. I thought the worst case scenario is I find a $20 used club and can use it to hit rock or something laugh out loud , but I was lucky enough to find one for $5 (there were lots of clubs for $10, looked like mostly 6 irons). So my total ended up being $35ish with tax for 28 regrips = $1.25 per (plus the cost of the previously purchased grips of course). Since I was there with my dad, we got to use most of the card for both of our clubs.

Seems like a pretty decent deal. I bought my cheap grips and need to put them on, I have my regrip kit and everything..

Not sure if you have Golf Galaxy in your area, but they are pretty cheap when it comes to regripping clubs. One time they only made me pay for the grip, but usually its $1 or $2 to regrip + the cost of the grip.

Do your own, easiest thing in the world. Cut off old grip, apply double-sided tape, solvent, slide on new grip.

or just buy PURE GRIPS. i bought some last year off rockbottom for like 50$ it came with the air compressor adapter. they were so easy to put on and feel great, i think the price has gone up on them since then. but def worth the investment.

The grips were down to $0.99 a few hours ago. I bought 15 to be delivered to the store with FS.

I took a free course back then at golfsmith with special coupon on regripping and reshafting clubs. They teach you on other customers clubs lol.

But its super easy and I have done my own custom set which I built as well. Cut, clean, tape, dip in solution, pour solution into new grip and drain, then slap em on, align, and let dry.

Doing it yourself is the best way to make sure your grip lettering is perfectly aligned to club face if you like that. Also, a large bottle of regripping solution and tape is cheap if you plan to do it every season.
