Looks nice - my only comment is that my personal preference would be on the Grid View:
To see the +X X comments on the right hand side instead of the left hand side OR the image to be shifted down to after that so it wasn't covering it. Also, I like how you have the price in the blue box hovering over the picture if there is extra important info on the price, that appears to be gone in the beta. |

I think there is a almost 50% loss of screen space (displaying fluff like the logo & daily deal).
Not that I mind scrolling down a bit, but feel it would be valuable to show the FP Slickdeals at the top. Maybe reduce the font size two ticks and it should look pretty slick |

Ok...I'm going to give it some time...I don't want to be a crotchety hater of change, but I really like the old page better with regard to the shadowing and line distinctness of each tile (grid view). I like the addition of the # of thumbs and comments, but in the old page I would have placed it differently (as I stated in a previous post). Going to give it some time!

Background of the 'likes/comments' placeholder could be transparent/translucent. Also, in the grid view page is little too white (background color that is).

i hate the new sd look. simple list for life!
i also dont like the format the page is displayed when i click a SD link on my rss feed (im assuming thats also part of the new SD look?) |
