Walgreens 4/1 - 4/7 Deals

On page 12 of the ad scan, there's a banner at the top "Tune in April 1st to see Walgreens Walk the Walk" Something about Celebrity Apprentice, and that they will have exclusive merchandise as seen on the show. Says to text "WALK" to 21525 so I decided to try that to see what I get.

The reply text says "Thank you for texting in. Unfortunately this campaign has ended" Heck the ad just started.

Where is this coupon? Im not seeing it in any of the papers?

** This week isnt the best BUT on the flip side is that the cereal deal is decent enough that you can change RRs to cash (aarp gc)....

I had a really interesting scenario happen with the Olay deal Saturday night. My store had the ad on early and had up the new tags and there were tags on the bodywash as well for the BOGO50% so I thought if I could buy the bodywash first and then a facial cleanser I could use the coupon for the full price for the bw. (I planned on buying 4 items) We rang it up and the Bw rang at full price, then the face wash rang at 1/2 price as I was hoping. I had her ring a few other things in between just to keep the items clear and then when she rang up the 2nd bw it rang up as 1/2 price. I was confused wondering if everything was going to ring up 1/2 off so we rang up the face cleanser and it too rang up 1/2 off, so I added another bw (figuring it would ring up 1/2 off) and instead it rang up at $0! WOW what is going on? I rang another BW on and it now rang up full price and then tried one more and it too rang at full price so I had her remove that one and used 2 of the free BW coupons for the full price BW and a $2 coupon for the 1/2 price bw and then the coupons for the facial cleansers. I don't know why it did what it did but I ended up getting 2 extra body wash for very close to free! I may try again tomorrow as I have a couple more coupons... but just wanted people to keep your eyes peeled at how things are ringing up. You may be able to score some extra items if you have enough q's and can think fast on your feet. HTH

ETA: this was on new registers if that makes any difference...

I may have missed it......Any reports on the behaviour of the H&S BOGO Q with new registers?
