What does $300 in slot play mean? I don't understand how the strategy in playing slots works, can we just cash out $300?

Well considering the rooms on Sun-Thurs are $20-$30/night, $50 in food = $70 + a massage at the Plaza of all places, maybe a $30/$40 value = $110, plus $300 in slot play, that could really net you nothing.
In the end, just like Vegas, you are gambling on this deal because those show tickets are worthless, you probably could see whatever plays at the Plaza for free from vouchers on the street, and you are just banking on that $300 slot play paying out.. Tell me if I am wrong? There are too many people that would maybe make some money out of the slot play, but aren't strong enough to cash out and probably just piss it away. You will need to flush through the $300 as if it was store credit, you may hit..but you may not win much at all.. |

$300 slot play has a higher EV than the cost of the deal.
If you don't know anything about gambling, sit at the lowest-denomination slot you can find and play through the $300, and cash out what's left. At a penny machine you're probably looking at an 80% return, so that's a $240 cashout. If you're a video poker player, Plaza has full-pay machines at 99.54%, so that's $298.62 expected value. If you play $300 and stop, unless you're playing $5 or higher slots, the chances of cashing less than the $149 that you purchased for are negligible. Even at a 3-coin dollar slot at 90%, you've got less than a 7% chance of cashing out less than $149 if you play through the $300. Sure, if you keep playing, the money will obviously go completely away over time. But the key to getting cash out of a free slot play promo for people who don't play video poker is generally to play the smallest denomination possible for exactly the amount of free play you've got, and cash out what's left. The massage is listed as a $100 cost. |

Which fine print are you referring to?
I spoke to LivingSocial and they said that the free slot play should be valid on any machine, there's "no fine print on it". I called Plaza and they said they have nothing to do directly with the promotion but that they "do not use promotional machines like some other casinos". |

I wonder if there would be a problem booking back-to-back two-night stays with this deal? Check out at the end of the first two night deal and then check back in for another two night deal.
