Earn or Win Free iPod Nanos Shuffles Videos: Guide to ipodsweepstakes - NO REFERRALS!
Thread DetailsLast Edited by shuriken February 27, 2007 at 08:57 PM
But, by popular request (and by coot66's laziness) I've compiled a guide to help you guys earn your free iPod Shuffle or Nano!
1. We will want to start by making a throwaway email address and phone number set to use for signing up for offers on this site:
For email, I recommend Yahoo! - http://mail.yahoo.com
For phone, I recommend getting a free number/voicemail here - http://forums.slickdea
2. Once you've established your new email and phone number, visit and register an account with:
*Note* Sign up using the real information for this since this is where your iPods will ship to! Validate your account via the link they send to your email.
3. Now to get started earning points! Basically, how it works is that you sign up for various offers (i.e. give them your email, address, etc.) to EARN points!
As of Jan. 20, 2006:
o 1,000 Pod Points for a free iPod 1 GB Shuffle
o 2,000 Pod Points for a free iPod 2 GB Nano
o 3,000 Pod Points for a free iPod 30 GB Video
If you don't like how the page refreshes after each link (you lose your spot on the page), save the page by going to File -> Save Page As.
Open the saved paged using NotePad, FrontPage, etc.
Quote from Original :<!--
window.location = 'http://www.ipodsweepstakes.com/pp.aspx';
Quote from New :<!--
*Note* The files when you save the file on your computer are saved LOCALLY so you will need to resave it, if you want to see any NEW offers. (Thanks feiht).
4. Just work down the list and complete the offers. I recommend only doing offer that:
o Require only a email address;
o Require only a zip code; and
o Require only your address.
Don't give out your real information (use the email and phone you set up...as for address, you can use a real one, but you should probably make up a fake physical (must be a real location though) address.
If you must sign up for something that requires a C/C, I recommend:
Obopay - https://www.obopay.com/consumer/ <- it comes w/ FREE $5 after you activate the card.
*Note* Some things you sign up for will not credit so make sure that you record what you signed up for so you can dispute it, if you need to! The best is to use this FREE spreadsheet program thru Google:
o Date Offer was Completed
o Offer Name (or Link)
o Point Value
o Date Offer was Credited
6. If you complete all the FREE + SIMPLE offers on the page, you should get up to anywhere from 800 to 1500 points. This will be after about a week of waiting since some points credit slower than others.
e.g. this is the link to true.com's signup:
if you tweak the last nine (9) digits, you will get a different offer.
i.e. i changed the last "1" to a "2" and got another offer (BestRewardsAround.com):
keep playing with it and you should find offers NOT offered on the main page.
7. For points that you did not get credit for, simply fill out the Member Support Form and they will fix it.
Member Support Form link: http://www.ipodsweepst
If that doesn't work, contact them directly:
Gulfstream Internet Group
945 Clint Moore Road
Boca Raton, FL 33487

Use Member Support Form
8. Once you get up to 1,000 or more points where you can redeem for an iPod, you will be able to click on the Redeem link and they will send you an iPod. They ship usually within one week (though it says it can take up to 4 to 6)!
Quote from Confirmation Message :Congratulations! Your request has been submitted and your iPod will be sent shortly. Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for delivery.

Original post by coot66:
I already recieved two iPods from this site (a nano 1gb and 512mb shuffle). There's also a sweepstakes through which you can win (it's legit; I won my shuffle through it).
The program works by you filling out offers and doing other such fun-filled things. Now you might be wary of the credit card offers as I was, so stick to the ones requiring only a zip code or other free information requests. It might take a while, but the points to pile up.
The site recently updated from 1gb nanos and 512 mb shuffles to 2gb nanos and 1 gb shuffles, which retail close to $140 and $70, respectively. Anyways, it's a great site and I highly recommend it to all.
Bear in mind, there is a refferal program but I'm staying away from it and no posting of links here.

--First of all I suggest you use another email address other than your personal one (hotmail seems to work best) because you will receive a lot of spam in your inbox when you sign up for all these different offers.
--Don’t use your real phone number. I got a free online voice mail from http://k7.net/ It will send you an email when you have a voice message, although, I never bothered to listen to them.
--If an offer says you receive a certain amount of points for entering your zip code, that’s all you have to do. You can close everything else out (you’ll get pop ups.) Same goes for the email address offers.
--I didn’t do any offers that required a CC# for a free trial but a friend did (I always forget to cancel the darn things.) She got enough points for a Nano in about 10 days with the free trial offers. I got enough points for a Shuffle in 5 days sticking to just the totally free, no CC# required offers.
--I didn’t do any of the free ring tone offers because most tend to charge you through your cell phone carrier. I didn’t want to chance being nailed with a fee of $9.99 on my cell bill so I didn’t do any of those.
--Make sure you check the email address you used to sign up for your account and the offers (use the same one) because some of the offers require you to confirm through the email they sent. It won’t take long before you’ll be able to tell what junk mail is and what requires you to confirm.
--I suggest keeping track of all the offers you have completed. That way, if for some reason you don’t receive credit, you can contact iPodsweepstakes with the date you completed the offer. They have outstanding customer service and will happily credit you for the offers you didn’t receive credit for.
--Don’t waste your time emailing them with a question. If you have a problem, question, or concern call them. They don’t respond to emails in a very timely manner, but like I said, their phone customer service is incredible.
--Offers usually credit in 5-7 days, some sooner, and some longer.
--Click each link every night to get the max amount of entries into the nightly drawing. You can click the link and close the window before it even pulls the page up. You just have to have clicked the link to receive the credit.
--Also, not sure if you're interested in the satellite radios, but it works the exact same way as iPod Sweepstakes does only the points you earn are double. You still only need 1000 points to redeem for a Sirrus or XM radio. Here's the site if you're interested
--If you have anymore questions, don’t hesitate to PM me and ask. I don’t mind helping out.
Awww dang I just typed up another. But, I'll look at the one I send you to see if I missed anything. Thanks for saving it!
