How do you know that they are poorly made? If you bothered to check instead of thread crapping, you'd find them well reviewed on Amazon and for about the same price.

Name brands are about 2x.

Not going to argue that it's cheaply made, but I think you are wrong on the quality made being the same price.Even the "designer" wallets (Hilfiger, relic, etc) that are $15-20 are craptastic.

Erm, as far as the slimfold wallet goes, I don't see anyone on Amazon selling it for 9,99+FS, just 1 guy selling it for 9,99+1.99, and he only has 1 left. Try again?

Keyword on Amazon is Alpine Swiss, and it seems only the 1 vendor sells them... I guess it could be they sold out after you looked?
