can anyone comment on the quality? I have cheaper mounts that were this style for computer monitors and they leaned to one side or the other because of the cheap construction of the hinges.

I would be interested in quality as well..
Also: Can mount on or in walls
Anyone mounted it "In" wall? I can place this before drywall for a more finished look, but not sure how they suggest you do that.

To do that you would need to cut a recessed section in the studs which you are mounting it on. It can be done, but it would be a PITA. Also, you wouldn't be able to get it to set flush against the wall because the bracket wouldn't be able to be pushed all the way back against the bracket due to the drywall being in the way, so the TV would always need to sit at least 5-6" away from the wall.

Yes I think two arms from mono price would hold my 52" LED better than this single arm. especially considering I plan to leave mine in the swiveled out position.
Does it ever go on sale less than $36 or free shipping from mono?

I haven't really followed the mounts much. I just went comparison shopping as my other mount is from Monoprice and saw this one. My main reason for buying one would be the double arms as i've had LCD mounts sag to one end because of poorly designed hinges.

I tried this but it was too hard to see the screen through the drywall.

I have bare studs currently, and have not put up drywall in the attic yet where this will be going, that's why I asked about mounting on the studs. not an issue since I can see the studs clearly, thought it could be a good opportunity to make it look even better when complete.
