I have been looking to get one of these but the reviews are swaying me away.. lots of "failing after ~2-4 weeks"

Thermaltake rebates are really slow too. Still waiting on my rebate for the other (single) docking deal back in Nov.
It's definitely a Thermaltake issue as the company that handles the rebate for them also handles ASUS and I typically get me rebate within 2 months (sometime less) through ASUS with no issues. |

Just get a SATA to USB 3.0 adapter. Much more compact and convenient than this, plus no need for a AC adapter.

The original post seems to have a typo, the deal was $35 AR. Anyway, this deal is dead. Unit is $59.99 now before rebate. Last edited by mpkb; 03-27-2012 at 02:25 PM.. |

oops, there was a typo. I paid $45.99 before the rebate, not $49.99. Total cost after rebate though was correct. Dead now though so it doesn't matter.
