Headphones for an active person
I am far too often buying and replacing this [amazon.com]$12 set by Koss. I like it fine, but it always breaks somehow. The main concern for me is "will they stay on/in my ears" while I am running/jumping/biking/whathaveyou. Open to suggestions, I would be wary of investing more than $30-40 without knowing it would last me. Thanks for any ideas.

What exactly is breaking? You know that Koss has a lifetime warranty, right?
If you want active headphones, my favorite have been the Sennheiser/Adidas collaboration. Decide which style you like best. They all sound the same, just differ in their fit: http://www.sennheiseru I have and like the PMX the best. The OMX work well too, and the MX have this weird thing where they press against the top of your lobe to hold themselves in. I didn't find them especially comfortable. AKG has a similar model, K316 or K326. |

i tried a pair.. i forget the exact model but was not impressed with the bass.
The best place to get them is best buy. Because if they ever break which mine do every other month you can just walk them over there and they will replace them on the spot. |
