Advice: next time you go to the range, don't just stand there and hit balls. By that, I mean put the ball down, and approach it like you're approaching your shot on the course. Stand behind it, line it up, take your practice swing, stance, and then swing. You're never going to develop consistency by practicing differently than you play, IMO. Sure, this will make your range sessions longer, but it should improve your play. If you're feeling adventurous (and like taking even MORE range time, lol), try simulating an entire hole, drive to green. Pick out a target and play a drive, then choose your next shot (is it a par-5? Am I laying up?), and finish out the hole, even chipping if you "miss the green." I read a few of these in a magazine and am looking forward to trying them out next time I hit the range. Also, started regripping my clubs this weekend but my Callaway grips have been a BEAR to remove, so I only got my 5 and LW done before quitting

I'll hit well weeks 1-3, then BLOW UP for 4-6, then back to OK for 2 weeks, then really improve as I get completely dialed in. Last year weeks 1 and two I hit a 46 on 9...then the 1st week of the league I shot a 52...and by the end of the season I had 39-44 every week. Haven't gotten out at all this year yet, but league starts in 3 weeks.
