Thread Details

I tried to get the them to throw in the internet streaming, but no luck. I let my service expire in Feb and they have been calling me everyday for the past couple week and I decided to finally answer tonight.

Maybe an ok deal?

These are phone deals.... it's not on their website. That is normal for Sirius/XM deals.

TU, to negate your td.

I got a letter in a mail for the same offer. I thought it was a good deal. I don't think it had any special codes on it but I have to find the letter.

I'm pretty sure it's not for current subscribers. I haven't had it in months. I was getting calls everyday to come back.

Thanks for the heads up, OP! They've been after me too, and I miss my XM! You may want to add YMMV to the title, though.

You could just be helpful and suggest thread needs YMMV alert or a link, if possible.

I'm a current subscriber that's about to let it run out, and they've been calling me every day as well. The offers they're giving me are:

5 months for $25
12 months for 50% off.

Outdated technology, poor customer service if you need to call them for anything, and the music channels play the same songs over and over.

I was a subscriber from 2006 for Howard Stern until 2010 when I realized finally there were hundreds of better and cheaper options out there than Sirius/XM.

I received the same deal for my wifes car which has expired. Good deal. I have been able to get this deal every 6 months for my car also. You just tell them you want to cancel and they usually give you the 6 months for $24 plus tax.

I bought a new car and the 4 month free service ended. I called and they started their offers at the full price options. Finally said, no thanks and the offered $25 for 6 months for standard or $35 for 6 months for the premium stations. At last a company that would rather keep a customer by making a decent offer than letting them go.

It is a good deal. For whatever reason, they always offer me 5-month deals, not 6 - and I still think it's worth the $5/month.

they offered me 6 months at 24$ and a free radio+dock so i can take it on the go.. kind of wish i wouldve took it. but free radio on my phone with no commercials is better.

I don't spend my much time in my car, do it's not really worth if for me. My old mini cooper came with a life time subscription, which was nice.

I'm hoping they will come back with a better deal, ala online streaming if I tell them no enough.
