Thread Details

I tried to get the them to throw in the internet streaming, but no luck. I let my service expire in Feb and they have been calling me everyday for the past couple week and I decided to finally answer tonight.

Maybe an ok deal?

Outdated technology, poor customer service if you need to call them for anything, and the music channels play the same songs over and over.

I was a subscriber from 2006 for Howard Stern until 2010 when I realized finally there were hundreds of better and cheaper options out there than Sirius/XM.

What does this have to do with the OP? He received a PHONE CALL for his deal. The OP never mentioned anything about an online offer.

Seems like a good deal but I know people who have had the WORST experiences with these people. Just do a quick google search and see for yourself.

I'm a current subscriber that's about to let it run out, and they've been calling me every day as well. The offers they're giving me are:

5 months for $25
12 months for 50% off.

I got the 12 months for 50% off as well. Last year I paid about $108 for the 1 yr XM premier service. This year, they charged me the full price ($230/1 yr). I called and threatened to cancel and they gave me 50% off. Make sure you go through cancellations though.

I just called and canceled mine. The best they could offer was 6 months for $47.XX. I'll just wait and see if I get a better email/mail offer.

These guys just don't get it... I have a Chevy (XM) and my wife has a ford (Sirius). Same company now for several years yet no ability to get a family plan or add a radio. It seems their pricing is just call up and "let's make a deal". And no way I'm letting them hold my credit card.

I cancelled service about 4 months ago and have been getting one of these $25 letters in the mail every month pretty much. The catch is that it continues to charge your card at FULL rate which is pretty much what NO ONE pays, crazy amount like $18/month or something.

I have been using Pandora and TuneInRadio with my cellphone connected to the car and it has worked very well for me.
