This came up on my dash so I can re verify that it is legit. I'm a silver member. Good if you need to renew and don't own the games.

This deal was posted several weeks ago and has been renewed/resurrected. However, as Gold member, I still cannot replicate it. It is not on the homepage or the TV area with Larry's commercial, even after rebooting or starting/ending games.

Signed up and still waiting for my codes. For everyone on this thread who's taking the deal, here's how to make sure your card doesn't auto-renew you at full price in 6 months:

1. Go to https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Account
2. Login if you're not logged in already
3. In the big gray box, click "Change" beside "Automatic Renewal"
4. Click through the advertisement for Gold to select "OFF" by Automatic Renewal and "Save Changes."

Note that I wouldn't do that until after you get your game codes "just in case."

Right--it seems to go away once you become (or already are) a Gold Member. For those who aren't, it appears on a regular basis until you sign up.

Yeah, the deal only appears if you are a silver member. It should be under the home tab and you have to watch the commercial for the 1st 30 seconds before the Buy it Now button appears on the bottom left.

Charged it on my paypal and changed the renewal status so I'm good to go!

I was on my free month gold trial but I made a separate account just in case this popped back up again.

I took part in a similar deal about a year ago for a year of Live with a code for Snoopy Flying Ace that was supposed to come via e-mail for $40-45. I never got the code, and neither did anyone else on the websites that had posted about this deal. Since then I've been hesitant to renew with any of these deals where codes are to be mailed out in the future. My Live has run out and this seems like a mighty good deal, but I'm not sure whether or not to risk it. Has anyone in this thread ever successfully received a code for a game that was supposed to come with a Live renewal?

Same thing happened to me last time. Renewed using a deal with 2 new games and never got the codes. I had to call microsoft tech support like 10 times before i finally got after 4 months. I got this one, hope things go easier this time.

Uneasy that the games portion of the deal did not appear anywhere in the confirmation e-mail, I chatted with Xbox customer service. They said it will take 6-8 weeks and the transcript of my chat session will serve as proof.

If you chat, make sure to e-mail the transcript to yourself or you record the chat service request number. Something makes me think this might be a fight but I WILL GET MY CODES!!

Just now had chat with xbox support.. That guy said you will get email in 4-6 weeks from promotion end date... Today seems to be the last day of this promotion... The guy told me that I will get email with download codes, some time in 2nd or 3rd week of May... Also, if your email account is other than hotmail, msn or live.com, email may go to spam....

Ended up returning BB's bundle (I found them cheaper anyways_
while exchanging Halo: Reach for a different game.

Those two were $50 by itself.
So this is more then worth it for me.

I wouldn't mind playing Fable 3 and Gunstringer.
I haven't demo'd Toy Soldiers yet either.

If I don't get an email by May, then I'll call customer service just to make sure I get the codes.

eBay doesn't ban selling codes. What are you talking about? There's tons of DLC codes being sold on there daily.
