Took the challenge at century city on 3/26. Finally got the $200 gc email a few days ago. Called them yesterday morning to "see" if they had the titan in stock without telling them about the email. They said yes. I came in and got my phone. Post it on clist and sold it today. Got $260 cash for it. Way better than the gc.

Wow, that is horse shit.... i went in the other day, the lady gave me some lame excuse about how it wouldn't be fair to give away someone elses phone, and here you come doing that....

how do we complain against century city? seriously, this is really pissing me off... I want to make an actual complaint this is such horse shit. They can't be selective on who they do give the phones to and others they push away... that's farking ridiculous.

If anyone knows where I can call or e-mail let me know. I want to give corporate helllllllll

Don't understand what you're trying to say. If you got in on the challenge you could have ordered the Arrive, which is the only Windows Phone that Sprint carries. They are not giving away any more phones, that giveaway ended weeks ago.

same here. got the titan 2 and im liking it quite a bit. my friend got the radar 4g and even that is pretty nice. small screen but snappy as hell

only thing i do not like about the ms windows phone is how they lock up the root directory, i like to use a cell phone as my portable flash drive as well and move files in and out without the need for zune. aside from that, it's a great os to me at least. it would do everything i want mostly surf the web anyway, text and take some pics.

To be fair, I did the challenge on 3/26. This was before the sh*t hit the fan. The guy at the store told me to come back in a week for my phone. I came back a week later and they told me, "sorry, not in stock yet. check next week." I came back the following week and it was still not in stock. At this point, I told them to check my info to confirm since they only hand wrote it. He couldn't find it in his laptop and asked for all my info again. I was pretty pissed since sh*t did hit the fan by this time. He told me to come back in 4-5 weeks. I bitched him out. Nothing I can do at this point. I read everything people said in this thread and just decide to pretty much play by their terms as far as not being honest up front. I was just a customer looking for an HTC Titan and after they said, "sure its in stock.." then BAM, gimme my phone bitch! j/k. They were cool when I picked up the phone. Everything went smoothly. In and out in 10 minutes. I wasn't planning on reselling the phone but I couldn't wait over a month for a replacement phone. I would say just call the store and ask if the phone in stock. Don't tell them anything about the WP challenge. Good luck!

I used the skype app last night, and it works fine on my arrive, which has no front camera. My android tab couldn't do the skype last night with wifi. So this point, the arrive won.
But using the arrive/windows phone 7.5, I don't always feel convenient. Like read sms, it is not one touch deal, you'll have to go through several touches to actually get into there. And to exit, you'll have to press the back key several times too. Or like make a phone call, if the number is in history, it will be easier, but if not, you'll have to look for the person in the people tile, and click the person, then click the phone number... Almost feel the wm 6.5 was easier on all these everyday task. The worst part is the volume, I can turn the volume to max or min while taking the phone out of the case, and although it's easy to turn volume off, you can't turn the vib on/off unless go into settings/sound and press the toggle switch. Why not put the vib the same as the volume at lock screen? Can't understand.

FWIW, The Scottsdale store just informed me that only have the Focus Flash or Lumia 710 in stock today. Said that they get more phones, but never know when or what they will get.

You can switch between ring and vibrate by hitting that little icon in the top right when you change volume.

Now if you're talking about turning off vibrate when you have ring+vibrate on so that it'll be ring only, then yes, you need to go into the settings just like iPhone.

Yes, I'm talking about turn the vibration on/off, because I don't want to be waked up in the mid of night because my "junk" email box got a junk mail and forwarded to my sms. Then, iPhone sets the standard now, doesn't mean others should just follow what apple did. since the ring can be toggled by the bell icon, why not the vib? Just can't understand.
