Huffy Disney Princess Girl's 16" Bicycle - Pink - $39.99 - Target - YMMV

I recently saw the Slickdeals post about how Target has a 50% off coupon for any "Disney Princess" Toys. It got me to thinking if I could use it to buy a Disney Princess Bike. I thought there may be an issue because bikes aren't in the "toy" section. Anyway, I put this particular bike in my cart and headed to the checkout person:

They cashiers had a scanable 50% off coupon at every cash register so you should hopefully not need to bring it with you to the store. Anyway, the coupon wouldn't scan for the bike...my guess is because it was from sporting goods. The box clearly has the same Disney Princess logo as the coupon does though, so that had to have worked in my favor. The checkout guy called the manager over and he just dropped the price from 79.99 to 39.99. So if you have a nice manager at your store you might be able to pull this off. They have a 12" bike as well.
