While these a singular deals...I think Bing Cashback was the slickest multi-occurence deal of all time.
Amazon is the best... except for non-Amazon sold exchanges. Welcome to all the noobs... including the staff OP. Last edited by stickycash; 03-30-2012 at 02:55 AM.. |

One of the deals that sticks out in my mind is the one in 2007 where you could buy a 42" plasma, a home theatre system, and a bluray player from best buy. You could return everything except the tv and you ended up getting the tv for around $600, which at the time was an incredible deal.
Also does anyone remember when paypal first started, I think back in 1999... they gave away $10 just to sign up. |

A $10 Amazon Gift card for $5 makes the top 5 all-time SlickDeals? What has happened to SlickDeals? I remember quite a few that blew that away and I know I have have missed a lot of great SlickDeals.
Don't go away mad, just go away.

You guys need to get your memories checked. The sony location free device was sold for about $15 at overstock (regular price $150) which paid for my vegas vacation after selling 25 units on ebay. The lg 42" tv for $200 on bestbuy. About 50 deals from dell via price mistakes and stackable coupons. The iphone for sprint that sold without contract at promo price. The ones you mentioned are for amateur hour.

Complainers:
"Monetarily, these haven’t been the deepest discounts we’ve offered, but for some reason, you have loved them and for that, so do we!" This is just a list of top 5 highest voted deals. It has nothing to do with OP's or Slickdeals Staff opinions, or the money saved vs retail value, or what YMMV trick may have worked for you. Keep posting your sweet deals, as I like reading them, but get over yourselves. I agree with stickycash that Bing cashback was the sweetest deal over a long period of time. Saved me 100s of dollars. |

Ok, I'll play. My slickest deal ever by percentage terms is the dry erase boards from Staples that were about 98% off.
However my all time favorite is my $19 4 day NCL cruise. To each his own. But I think deals #5 and #2 are a joke. Also, consolidate #4 and #1 into 1 deal just because they're so similar. I understand the criteria is by "volume" of user votes, which is fair, but volume doesn't make it objectively the best deal(s) of all time. As mentioned others like SAVE300 (which I unfortunately didn't get in on) and Amazon's infamous $5 off ANY order (which I made several orders) blow those away. The fact of the matter is SD has grown in popularity over the years due to social networking, so of course any deal today will get more votes due to many more registered members. I think this list needs to be revised to account for some of the older deals. Perhaps maybe make this thread into a poll with about 15 or so deals and let us members vote on it. Just my $.02 cents. My favorite was Frontier airfare to anywhere for $99. They forgot to exclude Alaska so my wife and I went Chicago->Fairbanks RT for under $500 total. The SLICKEST deal though was the Amazon/Fisher-Price promo...got $250 worth of Fisher-Price Toys for $0.38, Prime shipped.
