Top 5 Slickest Deals of All Time

I guess my favorite deal so far has the been the cheap (mispriced?) CDs on Amazon in early February this year. Many were going for 70c, and a big slickdeals feeding frenzy went on for a few hours until Amazon fixed the prices. I got about 20 CDs for under $20. There was a nice community effect where people posted the different albums they managed to find going cheap.

Not sure if this qualifies, but i liked the Harrahs 60,000 points for visiting their properties. Did two cards and just came away with $600 bucks home depot giftcards.

How about this one from back in my lurker days. Got a bunch of free Leapster stuff and other toys from that. I remember TRU screwed up on their website a couple of times back then.

Reading thru the first page of that thread, a couple of funny replies compared to today's SD world:
"Well with over 36 people viewing this I am sure ToysRUS will figure out there mistake in a matter of probably max 1 hour... "
"WOAH!! 180 views already...I'll give TRUS 10 minutes....better order as much as I can... "

And some things never change:
"They will cancel orders or charge you the price of two items. I bet that someone has already called them to ask about it."

Best deal for straight up value for me was the Venture card promo from last year. 100K miles matched + cashback = $1100 Cash. There was almost no effort involved to get the $1100.

I don't know if price mistakes count as a slickest deal, but my slickest deal was my HP dv6zqe laptop. Got to use a $374.99 discount code on a laptop worth almost $800.00.

35% Bing cash back was one of the slickest deals that I have seen and participated in.

Chase Freedom CC. $300 cashback for spending $500 in 3 months. I hope this is a common accurence.?

My slickest is buying a new in box HP Touchpad from Office Depot for $50 a few months ago (Feb '12)

I also was fortunate enough to score 2 years of Amazon Prime too, even after I graduated in 2007.

Unforutately had to pay the $39 this year though!

You got ripped off, everybody else (including me) got that TV for 547.99 + tax from best buy, which was awesome because the next lowest price ever on that tv was $1200 + tax from Frys, then $1300 shipped from an ebay daily deal.

I also got the $200 32gb touchpad/touchstone/folio from qvc, the $200 dyson dc25 from kohls, the $150 xbox/kinect bundle from amazon, the $140 ps3 from target, and more
