thanks for posting that observation. Not having shopped for over 4 years, I'm not well acquainted myself and had thought that the B series pentiums were all slow.

These are looking interesting. Still, being 'scratch and dent', would that mean that they were likely damaged by dropping or being hit, and that there might therefore be some unknown internal damage that can show up before long? (Like some broken trace in the mobo, e.g.)

Very good deal. It beats the hell out of all the sub-$300 notebooks that are using cheap netbook processors.

If you need an HDMI port, these laptops might not have it despite what the Lenovo sales reps tell you.

I purchased a Essential B560 just recently but returned it immediately. Prior to my purchase, I spoke with a sales rep via chat. The rep listed the entire specs of the laptop, which stated it had an HDMI port. Upon receipt of the laptop, I noticed there was an unremovable plastic cover where the HDMI port should have been. I contacted tech support and they informed me my laptop "probably" doesn't have HDMI and told me the specs the sales rep gave me are the general specs for these types of laptops and items likes ports might and might not be included.

No- they are usually minor. refurbished is usually mint
1) you can always return it
2) 1 year warranty

Just make sure you guys don't get this model refurbished Lenovo G575 - 4383XF6 this are the ones sold on Black Friday and if you look closely they only come with one speaker and one slot for ram so be very carefull what you buy here. They are not that cheap just because they are on some kind of special. They are cheap for a reason

Is it that easy to return something to Lenovo? They have extremely bad customer service, much, much worse than Dell's. Also, once you place an order it cannot, under any circumstance, be canceled by the buyer's request.

Nonetheless, this is a good deal on a basic laptop right now, until the next gen CPU's come out.

I tried to return an item and they said " hell no" sales are final on refurbished items except of course if its damaged or you refuse package.


I might be wrong they just gave me the idea I couln't return it so I kept that cheap lappy
