I received a rebate from Xigmatek, but this was back in 2007. Guess they've gone the way of scamming buyers for their rebate checks.

Xigmatek is a criminal organization when it comes to rebates. There is no question about this. The more people that contact the AG, the better, because these guys have absolutely zero intention of paying. |

Can you help with the AG complaint process? Maybe outline the complaint format and process. It's my 1st time doing an AG complaint. I want to make sure I do it right and get these ba$tards. Thanks |

What's important to note is that Xigmatek can still ignore your AG complaint. The hope here is that they decide to pay up in case the AG eventually comes calling. Considering how blatantly criminal Xigmatek is, even that is in doubt now. Regardless, follow the steps outlined and it'll be the best shot you have at getting the rebate. |

I'm in the same boat ( 24 weeks now ) and I registered just to comment. I would also suggest people file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission:
https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ I just spoke with someone @ Newegg via chat and she stated: "We are aware that customers are having issues with Xigmatek rebates" and she stated they would help me resolve this issue once I provided Newegg with copies of the rebate / UPC. This is clearly rebate fraud, we see the pattern and so does Newegg. As the USPS is involved this could also be considered mail fraud, I would suggest if people are out of options file a mail fraud complaint as well: https://postalinspectors.uspis.go...laint.aspx |

I received my February rebate after 22 weeks.
Supposedly they have a new policy where emails about rebates are answered within 24 hours. Use the email address that's listed on the rebate form and not the christina one, she will ignore you. Also, xigmatek has a manufacturer forum on overclock dot net. |

Got my November rebate. Christina said they are caught up on November rebates and are doing 2012 ones now. So if you didn't get your November rebate by now, it probably has a problem of some kind.
Apparently one thing is the November rebate form asks for the invoice # and the invoice, but if you print out your "Invoice Details" on Newegg like most/all places want you to do, the invoice # isn't on there anymore, but the order # is. So that can cause some confusion. Joe Biden says Buy a Shotgun! Wackiness ensues! [youtu.be]

I have done three rebates with Xigmatek....and all of them were payed quickly via paypal after I spoke with Christina. So save your vitriol about her (and Long Island as well for that matter) for the company that is putting these conditions in place, please. |

In contrast to your story, I have submitted multiple rebates to Xigmatek, and have gone through ridiculous lengths to get it done. Even after I reached Christina (a monumental feat of luck and perseverance), my requests were always forgotten about. Only after I contact the New York State Attorney General's office did anything get done. Many of my friends and coworkers went through the same ordeal and got run-around after run-around from Christina. Check out any thread on Xigmatek. You lucked out. |

I am sorry for your troubles, but I still maintain that your anger is aimed in the wrong direction. We do not know the personal situation of the woman in question, and it is unfair to speculate that she is complicit in Xigmateks shady rebate practices. Not only that, but unless there is action taken by the Atorneys Office to actually prosecute Xigmatek, we do not even know if what they are doing actually violates the letter of the law. Certainly I agree with you that it appears fraudulent, and that we should refrain from purchasing any Xigmatek products that have rebates. But I recall many other instances of companies shady rebate practices, and it appears that it is an area of the law that is very vague and hard to enforce. That is why forums such as this are good, because we can self-regulate so to speak by denying our business to such companies. |
