I thought thought this thread was for some cheap noodles. I heard fast food was bad for me....but I'mma still eat it. And cheese in a can, spam, hot dogs, sausages and 4 boxes of froze girl scout cookies. If you don't want to buy/eat it, then don't.

I agree that people should do what they want however, I am not cool with people doing things based on misinformation. You are an idiot If you know this stuff is making you fat,still eat it, then complain that you are fat. The problem lies when people don't know that the truth. The average person may hear on the news how trans fats are bad and may clog your arteries etc. What happens when they see these ramen noodles that say "0 grams trans fat"? They may want to buy a cheap "healthy" meal for themselves right? The reason they are advertising "0 grams trans fat" is to deceive the consumer that this is a healthy choice when in reality it is not. As a matter of fact, these noodles are loaded with trans fats (partially hydrogenated oils are trans fats) but the FDA is so corrupt that it lets these people get away with false labels.

Except for the people who read "0 grams trans fat" Investing in your health is the slickest deal you can get. If I were to post a deal that got everyone 50% off there doctor visits for life, it would be front page right? Preventing the need for doctor visits is an even slicker deal but nobody seems to care about that one....

I've purchased and ate Ramen before it had anything about "0 Grams Trans Fat" on the package and I have Ramen that has the "0 Grams Trans Fat" on the package in my pantry now.

Never once have I eaten a package of ramen and thought it was a "meal" like you've stated before. At best it's a snack, and it's well known that it's not the healthiest thing you can eat by looking at the nutrition information.

Regardless if it's healthy or not, the OP posted a deal. Folks posted different things that they've tried with Ramen and all of the sudden you arrive preaching "Super Size Me" junk since it seems you're a vegetarian.

Living in San Francisco I've got plenty of Vegetarian/Vegan friends that don't throw a hissy fit if I order meat at a meal nor do they preach the hooplah that you're spreading.

If you don't like it, then don't buy it, it's that simple.

You make it easy to bring up "religion" since you're so zealous about what's perceived as unhealthy by whatever your personal diet consists of.

I literally eat whatever I feel like eating and exercise accordingly. The health issues that I'll have later on in life will be because of genetics, not because of "pink slime" or Ramen.
