I ended up canceling my order yesterday. Sent an email to info@tumbletrade.__? in early AM and heard back from them around 4:00PM. Was given a full refund. The funny thing is, it sounds like it may have actually shipped beause they said "...and we have recalled the package."

I didn't really want to cancel that badly, but the company really needs to communicate better with customers. If they'd just answered the phone, they could have explained the status to me. But I always got some voicemail and never any callbacks. Or better, update the status to "shipped" or send notifications. I felt it was reasonable to feel nervous after the third day of waiting, when their policy clearly states they ship within 48 hours of payment. But it all ended ok. Now I'm seriously considering the refurb deal on tigerdirect for the same set and lower price AR.

-Yes, I for one tried calling tumbletrade's contact # on 3 different occasions today (Friday) and went to voicemail all 3 times-

The thing that I don't understand is, why would they offer a product that is clearly not available for purchase, or just on back-order via the manufacturer-if I knew it would take roughly 3 weeks to receive, I would have waited and ordered the deal from tigerdirect. It just sounds like tumbletrade is awaiting more of these TVs from the manufacturer, and once tumbletrade receives them, the TVs will finally be shipped out to the customers (unless tumbletrade is somehow having sharp ship the TVs directly from them to us)?

Hopefully others' who ordered this TV as well are not experiencing problems such as brysoncj and myself. Whoever else ordered, please share you experiences.

Same problem here. No TV - just some lame email explaining a delay. I have some issues with the email.

• These are refurbished TV, the manufacturer isn't "making" new ones.
• They knew ahead of time that they didn't make their shipment. Yet they waited until the customers were already expecting to receive them before sending notification.
• The email didn't even come from a "tumbletrade.com" address, but from some other email address "stampedeglobal.".
• They haven't sent an update today, to update their customers as to the status.
• They sent the email in-bulk to multiple un-specified customers. There is no way of knowing if it went out to 3 people, or 200.

But on the other hand, at least you received some sort of an email. I paid with PayPal, so I feel that least I have some sort of protection there.

We will be upgrading the shipping FOR FREE so that you will receive the product sooner, we appreciate your patience’s.

Are they upgrading to the 2-day shipping - or the 3/4 day shipping?

I received a very nice follow up today from "Josh" at tumbletrade, he expressed his appology for the delay, and said that I should hear from their distributor - stamped global - tomorrow, with the shipping date.

I just received a shipping confirmation number. Expected delivery is today or tomorrow! tumbetrade has definitely stepped up well for this unexpected delay in shipment.
