Is there a good reason to get Win7 Pro for the average home user? The only thing I saw was the XP Mode and maybe some of the networking features.
I'm just looking for a copy to run in Parallels or Bootcamp, as I am finally getting ready to retire my old XP Pro laptop I had been using for the few times Windows was required for something. |

Has anyone really needed tech support from MS directly? There are lots of forums out there and google is your friend. There was only one time I wanted to talk to their tech support, I had an odd issue and they weren't able to solve it, so google found the answer for me.

this is a good price. however, i've often seen the windows 7 home 3-packs (once IIRC even the pro version) for $100. that is a better deal i think if you are into computers... this is good enough if you are not.
After seven years of SD, I've come to conclude that Slickdealers are protein-powder guzzling, pistol packing, cheap-ass video game nerds.
