I have a nano, and I'd say it's bulky.

Not because of the screen size or the foam factor

But the clip mechanism makes it unnecessarily bulky. (for those who don't use the clip)

Got one of these free with the Nano 1st gen replacement thing. Once I realized it didn't have bluetooth I sold it. Then I started seeing the watch bands you can buy for these and kind of wanted it back for some reason. Sold my iPod Touch when I got my iPhone, but hate carrying it around when working out.

I almost bought one of these a few weeks back but reviews on Amazon trashing it's actual battery life vs. claimed battery life scared me away.

I'm clinging to my scroll wheel models. When I'm at the gym, I don't want to have to look at the screen to turn up the volume or skip ahead a bit. I understand everything is touch these days, but I like my tactile feedback.

I got a nano through the 1st gen replacement program.

the nano has dedicated volume buttons and double pressing the power button causes the song to go to the next track.

If you have a set of earbuds with a "talk" button, usually with an inline mic, pressing the talk button will pause/play, pressing twice will go to next track, pressing three times will go to previous track. Found this out when messing around with the nano.

I've got one, and a 3rd gen Touch. Get a refurbished Touch for less on Cowboom. I think the Touch sounds better and has a better trim adjustment if you are buying for sound quality. I've got a dock in my M3 and there's no comparison. More dynamic sound with the Touch for some reason. Must be the D/A converter.
