I don't even know if I can get to youtube or any of those "entertainment apps" but I guess I'll try and humor them just to see. I figure I could leave it on idle while I'm at work and come back to it finished.
Now my question is, does the kinect game have to be a "Kinect Required" game like Dance Central or can it be a "Kinect Recommended" game like Child of Eden. Not nearly enough specifics in Microsoft's post to satisfy me. |

I do not think it is an April fools because of there being a terms and conditions...the fact they are asking you to spend points...and that the offer lasts until April 30th.
Their deals are impossible to track though...i doubt they will have a site that tells you what you have completed and what you haven't...

Task 3 kills it, all three of those options sound awful. Facebook over Live equals mild torture.

well, its what 15 hours of "work". I play 1 hour over the 5 weekdays and 2-3 hours each on the weekend. I watch Youtube and Netflix and video kinect with my buddy, so yay for 300 free MSP!

I don't trust them accurately tracking this information, but it's worth a shot. Thanks.
Edit: For Task 2 I can stream the movie Giant three times for 10 hours of Netflix. For Task 3 an hour long youtube video of Nyan Cat should do. Any good suggestions for Task 1 where I can leave the Xbox running without paying it much mind? Last edited by fruitdog69; 04-01-2012 at 07:47 AM.. |

Sounds pretty easy actually: launch youtube, choose a video that's over an hour long, play it and then go do something else for an hour. Depending on how it checks usage, you might just be able to sit with the youtube app up but not doing anything. I'm more worried about #2 since I don't pay for any of those apps so I'd probably just have to try using last.fm...but is there any way to tell when you've met the criteria of the category? Would be pretty annoying if I left my Xbox 360 running for hours at a time only to find out that it didn't qualify me for one area because it didn't track it or whatever. |
