I have this Laptop but a older model with a Celeron processor. The touchpad is narrower than regular laptops, but is very much usable. If you need it for everyday use grab a portable mouse and you are gold. I picked this one on ebay to flip and decided to keep as a spare.

I have one of these and the touchpad isn't any different than most laptops I have ever used. I don't know what the specific complaint is, but I like mine.

Ok I have this model (with Spring 3G/Wimax card). Decently fast machine, impressively fast with i3 performance. Certainly much better than netbooks in the similar size class.

I had a friend with a Inspiron 11z (first gen) this is the second gen. Oddly the form factor is drastically different. It looks much more like the Insprion 1012, kind of wedge shaped.

Track pad is a bit small, no Macbook by any means, but it's okay I guess.

I am rocking 8GB of ram (2x 4gb sticks) in this machine FYI.

Sigh! Where exactly are you pulling those numbers out from? Intel's website says Quarter 2 of year 2010. I am seriously tired of seeing people spreading misinformation all over internet.
