Has anyone ever bought anything from a merchant in game? I only use them to sell to. They never have anything good.
I have bought some stuff. There is an achievement for buying 1 of everything from the Merchants, so anytime I see something that is not magically enchanted, and costs 100-200 I buy it to check it off the list. Just for sh*ts and giggles really...
Everything they have is 2000-3000...you can get much better stuff on the AH so there isn't much of a reason.

Thanks to Christ, I get to go to Heaven, even though I don't deserve it.
I've put in what I think is a lot of time, but I just got to Act IV last night. I spent a few hours replaying the end of Act II to level as I didn't have enough time to get going in Act III. Probably going to hit level 36-37 by the end (unless Act IV is shorter than I think). What are the rest of you finishing at? Are you hitting 60 by the end of Nightmare or are you leveling in Hell?
One thing I think I noticed (would have to confirm) is that the quests always give the same experience no matter what level your character is or how many people are in the game. For example, if I kill a boss in 5 different games, I got the same XP each time for the boss kill and completing the quest. I thought in D2, the XP given was based on your level and the level of the other characters in there. Did I miss an additional XP when the boss actually died and then another for the pop-up? What's the point of fighting harder enemies (based on additional players and levels) if I'm getting the same XP? Or, am I just picking a boss fight which has a set XP, but for everything else, the XP is variable?
I was also day trading Crafting materials, haha. Buy 100 at 17G, list for 25G and make a little after commission. The problem with that is #1 you are only making a little (but it only takes a couple of seconds to make 500G) and #2 it really clutters up your history. Especially because to get the super low prices you have to be fast on the "refresh" and "buy" and if you aren't the 1st to click it you get a "Failed Bid" that clutters up your history.
Doesn't a stack of 100 of the crafting stuff vendor for over 1000g? Am I reading something wrong here?
Massive account theft is currently occurring and it looks like the exploit is spreading.

I didn't use a spoiler tag because you just seam to take them for granite. But don't worry old chap, I'm hear to help you. For all intensive purposes, your probably relying on spell check a bit to much. But who knows, maybe this post is a blessing in the skies for other people who make similar mistakes, or maybe it's just a mute point and all for not.
People with the authenticator have said they have been hacked as well, something about a session ID hack that may be able to bypass the login or something.
From what I can understand, people that have played with randoms had their session IDs spoofed and allowed the hackers to bypass the login process all together. They then added a buddy to the friend list, had them jump into the game and cleaned them out. The authenticator did nothing to prevent this. Also there's another article saying the EU servers went down for 20 min (DDoS) and when it came back up people's accounts were cleaned out. What a bunch of a-holes.
