Aspire AO722-0825 11.6" Laptop thx tarf-fw

Special price for this week is $299.99 which is a good price.
But use coupon code 15319 for online or phone or code 93624 for in store and the price drops another $50.So the price after coupon code is $249.99 which is a very good price. Costco has almost the same computer for $349.99 (model AO722-0828) and the only difference that I could see is a 500 GB hard drive instead of 320 GB. Good until 4/7/12. don't forget your Cash Back.

The Aspire One AO722, 11.6" Laptop, is the perfect combination of usability and portability in one compact machine. You'll have everything you need in a travel light design to stay connected on the go, enjoy more of your media and tackle your everyday demands with ease.

•AMD Dual-Core C-60 Accelerated Processor (1.0GHz)
•4GB installed memory
•320GB hard drive

The radeon 6290 is on the same tier as a nvidia geforce 6600

Previous ao722 deal from target wiki page (has lots of useful info and links):

The dell 11z is also an alternative:
http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/71842
Its got a faster i3-330UM 1.3ghz CPU, but only 2gb of RAM, a smaller 250gb hdd, and way less capable intel integrated graphics, and is more expensive at $300.

I've had this netbook since last winter when Target had them for $200. It's a nice, small netbook that is decently powerful. Can play 1080p with the hardware acceleration on the graphics chip. The 1366x768 resolution is perfect for this screen size. Very first thing I did was wipe the hard drive and install Win7 x64 Home Premium from an RTM ISO. Easy.

With all that said, I'm wondering if the Dell 11z for $300 might be a better deal. Much better processor than this C60.

No comparison. Go for the Dell. Everyone I know that owns an Acer has had problems and their tech support is the worst. Not to mention that the Dell has far better specs

I wouldn't say everyone. I've still got a first gen acer netbook thats 4 years old. It still runs like a champ for school.
