Low quality brands like Acer gateway toshiba maybe hp if no heating problems

Notebook Components

1) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 200GB?
dont care i can just use an external hardrive for more space but at least 100+

2) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a DVD, Blu-Ray or HD-DVD drive?
no but perferred to

Why a laptop? Laptops tend to have shorter life spans compared to desktops.
How about you build a gaming desktop for about $600, and then buy a laptop/tablet for $400?

I think you would be much happier with a gaming desktop and lower end laptop.

If I do plan to build a gaming PC, should I wait for the new releases on the intel/amd

I'm looking for a gaming laptop too, preferably Alienware m17x, or Asus G74sx.
