Car wrap color for rear spoiler/wing

haha, that just contradicts itself all over...

It is a RICER when modifications that have been added that would LOOK to add power but do nothing of the sort....and OEM (ORIGINAL equipment) would HARDLY be rice, since it was designed by the manufacture and was all part of the automotive design, it isn't a modification.

Plus, it is hard to rice out a Porsche because the power is under the hood whether you like it or not, haha

I FOUND IT!!!! This is crazy. So, I called the dealer and talked to the owner that did the deal. He actually sold it to a friend that saw it when he stopped in that week of the trade and wanted it. I thought it may have gone to auction. Dealer gives me his friend's phone # and says "give him a call....tell him I gave you the number".

So I call the guy....very, very nice. I explained why I wanted to get it back and he totally understood. He said he drove it for about a year and sold it to a guy who owns a body/mechanic shop So he gives me the shop # and owner's name.

Just got off the phone with him. He said it was a beautiful car - he replaced the timing belt among other major updates and sold it to his friend that owns a construction business that HAD to have it

He was also very cool and said his friend may be willing to sell it. He took my number and will him and call me back either way.

The part that is beyond awesome is that it is STILL in NY. I'm not saying that this dude is going to part with it but I expected to hear it was across the country by now.

Sorry for the endless story I'm just excited. It just meant/means alot to him. I hope this guy is willing to sell it (at a reasonable price). I just know how happy he would be.

I know it's not rice because it's actually functional but it still has the over the top look.

Don't get me wrong, I love late model Porsches with ridiculous wings.

Yeah I watch it but not as much as I used to. I watched a couple episodes of TG America and thought it was terrible. Things are so much better with a British accent.

I can't believe it but that mechanic just called me back about the 928. He spoke with his friend who says would sell it because he is in the process of buying his 4th Jag and doesn't have a real attachment to the 928....I wish I had those problems

He gave me his # and told me what he thought he would take for it. Now I wondered if you could help me on this one. My husband got a deal on it when he bought it years ago. This guy is going to want about $4,000 more.

Again, it's a 1986 928 s.
These are the updates that were done on it:

Timing belt replaced.
Fan clutch replaced.
Rear hatch struts replaced.
Water pump rebuilt.
Timing belt tensioner rebuilt.
Shorts in tail lights repaired.
Headlight bulbs replaced.
Transmission fluid change.
Current oil change.
New battery installed.

Off hand, do you know if these repairs on that car are worth paying more for it now than he did about.....7 or 8 years ago?

All in all those things costed probably ~500-700. Your going to pay a premium for this car because they know you want this one specifically.
