As of 5/4/2012 at 3:40 PM EST, the promotion is still available. Call 800-795-6307 and be prepared to hear all the terms and conditions. It took me 23 minutes to submit the application. NOTE: There is no 0% Intro APR for 15 months with this promotion. You will be charged interest if you don't pay your balance in full.Frown

As of 5/2/2012 at 7:45PM EST, the promotion is still available.

As of 4/26/12 at 9:00pm EST, the 30,000 point promo is still available. I just called and was able to get it without any questions from the CSR. I didn't even need to give a promo code, she already had everything she needed.

As of 4/23 @10PM EST, this promotion valid also. Just give them a call to 800-795-6307. CREDIT GOES TO Jarod0, thanks man and of course, thanks OP!

As of 4/20 @ 10am PST, this $300 cashback is still valid. I just got mine and qualified right at the spot. You must use the 800-795-6307. The offer online is $250 cashback through the online process, and you need to spend $5000 within 3 months. So, take advantage of the $300 cashback with the $500 spent within 3 months by calling the 800 number. -Jarod0

This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Previous and existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer.

CONFIRMED!!! JUST CALL THE NUMBER BELOW TO APPLY IF YOU STILL WANT THE $300 CB bonus of the CHASE FREEDOM CARD!!!!!

Deal is still available as of 12:40 EDT ... call (800) 795-6307 to speak w/ a rep who will fill out an application. May not be available for very long though...

The CSR on the phone/online (if you opened within 30 days and are trying to get a bonus point raise) may ask you for a promotional code/ID. Tell them DN5M. More than likely, it will not expire for a few days.

I got denied on my last round of attempts last year for too many applications... I was planning on waiting, but I think this is too hot to not take a shot.

In America, we put the $ before the numbers. When you don't, your post looks like a Nigerian prince email scam.

EDIT: Nigerian scam or not, I still clicked and applied and got instant approval. Thanks and Repped! and Thumbup

What do you guys do once you have the card for a month or two and you already got your $300?

Do you guys just sit on the card and never use it again or do you cancel them?

I have AMAZING credit and NO debt at all! I would love to start taking advantage of these deals but I'm not sure the best way to do it without hurting my credit.

IIRC cancelling a card dings your credit only in the short term but it recovers pretty quickly if you have no other credit events. If you want to keep the card make sure it is set at a low credit limit and make like 1 purchase a month just to keep the thing semi-active.

This was posted some time ago. I applied a while ago, got instantly approved, spent around $500 on airline tickets, and already got my $300 check. Thanks.

Canada does it too for the record, also I love this card.

Amazon gift cards are currently 10% off too so technically you could turn that $300 into $330.
