Hello Slickdealers. I am looking for a free music editor I can use on my computer that has a Windows XP operating system. I just want to clipping ability, volume control, and saving as mp3 or wave formats. I really appreciate everyone's help on this. Thanks in advance.
I want to make my voice sound like T-Pain. Any ideas?
Hmm I'm just trying to clip a good portion of a song or record a sound effect from an existing video. But if you are trying to do sound effects I'd looking for a audio editor that specializes in sound effects.
Sorry I tried it but it doesn't not pick up sound from my sound card. Any other recording software you all know about?
If audacity doesn't work, I doubt any other sound editor will work. I am guessing you have a hardware problem (sound card or input device) or possibly some setting on windows isn't right. I think your best bet is go over to the Tech Support Forum describe what you have done and what you are trying to do. Their are some pretty clever people over there.
Btw I used Audacity but it seemed to have a problem noticing the sounds playing thru the speakers. So I hooked up a male to male stereo line from the computer's headset jack to the microphone jack and now Audacity records perfectly. Thanks for everyone's input.
