Outback Steakhouse Free $10 Bonus Card with $50 Gift Card Purchase by 6/17/12

Personally, I think this is a great deal.

For $50, you are getting $60 worth of "food value" - assuming you plan on eating at Outback, or a related restaurant. If you buy it in-store, there is no shipping charges or tax (think it's $1.25 shipping if you order online).

Use your points-reward based credit card, and there's an extra 2 to 5% bonus "worth".

For those of you who might not know, Outback is owned by OSI Restaurant Partners. Which includes the following restaurants:

- Outback
- Roy's
- Fleming's Steakhouse
- Bonefish Grill
- Carrabba's

In my opinion, these represent a might fine single-owned collection of restaurants. Fleming's and Roy's are, maybe my 2 favorite restaurants, period.

Anyway -- if you buy the gift card from Outback, it will work at any of the 5 listed above. The $10 bonus card (when you buy a $50 giftcard), will also work at any location (with a few minor exceptions). -- I verified this, as I bought them last night at my local outback.

I don't have the card in front of me, but the exceptions (based on what I can remember), are the Roy's in Hawaii and at Peebles Beach. Any Outback at an airport. And several Carrabba's. But by far, most are valid.

Since we go at least one of these places about once every 2 months, this is a good deal. (But read the fine print -- the $10 bonus card is NOT a gift card. It's a one-use card to reduce your bill by up to $10, not valid on alcohol, and will not carry a balance forward.) Lukily (small sarcasm), spending over $10 in food is not an issue.
