Looking for a deal on a Thomas the train toddler bed

Melanie25 14 April 3, 2012 at 04:53 PM
If anyone happens to come across a great deal on a Thomas the tank engine toddler bed, or Thomas or Sesame street toddler bedding at a great price I would love to know! Thanks!

I bought ours on craigs. They run on average 100 to 200- I'd buy new if 200 was the only going price.

are you looking for ones in the shape of the characters or just dressed up? You can probably find stencils for dressing them up yourself if you are willing to do that. it could end up being a great family event with the little one.
if not, i agree check craigslist or local places with sales.

we got a full bed instead of a toddler bed and skipped a toddler bed altogether. a full bed with rails will last them until they leave the nest and will save you some cash. Why even go toddler if they can sleep in a full with rails? Instead of getting a dressed up toddler bed we had fun with his room instead. decals and the like.

For baby #2 which is on its way, we are getting a crib that will transform into a toddler and full since the old crib is the pull down style that is banned from being sold anymore in NY

The cheapest Thomas The Tank toddler bed I have seen is at Toys R Us for $150 - They do come up cheaper on E-bay and Craigslist, but are usually used.

Playhut made a Thomas The Tank Bed Topper, and those show up on E-bay sometimes for around $50, you could use one on a regular bed to make it into a Thomas The Tank bed.

If you know someone who is handy, try making your own using these instructions:
