With Gold membership, if I stay in Hilton hotel, can I surf for internet wifi for FREE (even if I've 0 points on my membership)?

Yes. I had went to Maui and Waikiki and both times, I got free wifi with my gold status.

Do we need to tell them on the day of check-in that we had Gold Membership or how does it work? Whats the guarantee that they won't charge us for wifi?

Also, is breakfast FREE for Gold members? How does that work?

I wonder, when I used that trick last year to "renew" my expired gold I got gold until 2014???

However, it is working on an existing account to extend it until 2015?

Usually you don't need to. But it always good to aks fro a nice upgrade and other stuff at the check-in. If the hotel has an executive lounge try to go for it.

make sure they have your HHonors acct# when you check in, and that should take care of it

I made a new account for gold, then remembered I had a blue account with some points on it. I managed to get them to combine, so my points were on the 'gold' account. If I recall correctly, it took a couple tries.

had my current gold account which expire 3/13 then created new gold account then merged them. Now my account expires 3/15 and I plan on getting Hyatt to match status so I can use the free two Hyatt card hotel stays as Diamond trial status

can someone help me with this? does it still work? i need gold stat before july 4th bad..thanks
