BTW I when you do this trick, you should have them send you a replacement card because I didn't get one in the mail until I did that.

I re-did this trick back in March and the card says it expires 03/2014

This worked for me as of 4/4/2012 Noon.
Followed instructions from THATGUY.
1. Changed Country name to Australia in my Account. Make sure to logout after this step.
2. Clicked on the link provided by RJ Schmoove.
3. Entered 4423 9400 0000 0008
4. Click Verify and it got verified.
5. Enter account login info as asked. You will get booking form. Ignore it.
6. Close the browser and go to www.hiltonhonors.com and login with your user. You'll see the status updated to Gold.

Not only does it work. But I just got my Gold membership card from when this was previously posted.. and its good until 2014. Free internet, 25% bonus points, slight upgrades when possible. Hilton might just steal me away from SPG. Who just stole me away from Marriot last year.

gold has free internet access right? do i have to ask for the front desk to activate it?

Wasn't able to get it to work in Firefox. Tried IE and it worked just fine. Note that sometimes the page is slow in IE - wait a few seconds before starting to enter your info again.


Also, don't forget to go into your profile and goto the "Hotel Benefits" tab. You can get bonus points or free breakfast as well as other things.
