Search history issue
This is very interesting and I don't know how it happened. This only happened using Google Chrome on Slickdeals. In the Search box on the top right corner of the browser I type in any letter and it shows all the search words that I used while browsing at home. Now i'm at work and using my work computer and those same search words automatically appear. These search words I used in different sites not only on Yahoo search, Bing search or Google search page. Now it doesn't happen when I use any search engine but only when using the Slickdeals keyword search box on Google Chrome. How can I clear this? I've tried different methods and nothing works. |

This is a feature of your browser, not slickdeals. Try clearing your cache or your search history via your browser settings.
And please don't create multiple threads for the same issue. Just bump your other thread. No matter how helpful the feature, how easy it is to disable, or how good your intentions, someone somewhere will hate it and think you're a monster for implementing it.- Anonymous Developer

I don't think I created multiple threads. Anyhow, there is no way to clear my SEARCH list history on Google Chrome but there is a WEB BROWSER history where you can clear sites you visited. I've looked everywhere and even googled it. I've logged out from my Gmail account at work and still the Search list on Slickdeals are there. I see that if you are logged in at home and do some searches using Chrome, Google records this searches onto your Gmail account such that you can use the same search list when using a different computer. But then, I have logged off my Gmail account at work and yet the SEARCH list still appears when I type a word. This doesn't happen on Google Search page but it happens only from the Slickdeals Search box.
Anyone can find a solution to this? |

Never mind. I just found the solution. I logged out my account from Slickdeals and logged back in and now the search list is gone except for keywords that I entered yesterday and today using Google. Is there a way that I can stop Google from memorizing my searches?
