Toshiba is 1/2 thicker (will notice it if you use low profile wall mount). Toshiba doesn't have micro dimming. Active 3D on Samsung vs Passive on Toshiba. I'm pretty sure Samsung has more picture settings. Samsung is most likely better, but weather $600 difference (last deal) is justified or not everyone will have to decide for themselves. |

pulled the trigger on a 47". thought about the 55 for main room, but held up. decided a 47" would be good for the bedroom. lets see if Jeff McG (the Toshiba rep on my receipt) cancels my order
