Same thing happened to my quotes. Was thinking of ordering the 24" as well.

Did you ever get a verification email or have to verify over the phone? Also, did you order through online checkout or call with a quote?

My Save quotes were gone too...
Those who see the status change, have you guys got any verification mail/call??
I just got the purchase confirmation mail after i ordered.

Still waiting for another mail/call for verification dept.

I ordered it online and I received two emails, the first one was:

I got the same emails. I've called order verification, they will only contact you if they need to verify something (for example, maybe your shipping address doesn't math your CC address).

I emailed the sales-rep listed in the order confirmation (Jeff). He replied that my TV should ship in about 2 weeks.

I ordered the 47 in the day this deal was posted. I found the specs through the site. http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/c...U_spec.pdf

Like previously posted it says it comes with 4 pairs of glasses. It also says it comes with a wireless qwerty keyboard. It also says it's "country of origin" is Mexico. I haven't bought a tv in 4 years, but should that be worrisome?

even the older Toshiba 3D models series TL515U were all from Maximo. So no need to worry....its better than made in China

Just noticed no one has mentioned the contrast ratio. The only site I could find that mentioned it was Amazon and it says 40,000:1. This seems a little low compared to alot of the TV's these days. I'm gonna do a little more research and see what I can come up with. If somebody knows something I don't, chime in. God bless

From my understanding, contrast ratio is basically a gimmick.. Each brand has their own standard for it.. There is no general standard for it.. For example, 4000:1 CR of a TV from one brand may be better than 100000:1. Brands just show up big numbers like 3M:1 or 4M:1 to promote their products..

I called the sales department and she told that my order is still under verification.. My online status shows "Shipping Status to Follow". Do I need to worry about it?

Yeah contrast ratio measures are total BS. My Sharp 64U Lcd is only 10000:1 and I think it looks great. Basically every manufacturer can make their own scale for determining contrast ratio. I remember when Vizio and LG were advertising 1,000,000:1 and 2,000,000:1 contrast ratios :

I ordered the 55" but I am going out on vacation next week and will be gone for a week, so hopefully I can dictate delivery with the truck.

I called a few minutes ago since my account was locked and too contact the administrator, she was trying to figure out how to unlock it and gave me the order status and that I would be receiving a call\email by Tuesday if it needed more verification, she started asking me if I was an employee of Toshiba and how I placed the order but I managed to get off the call before I got asked more questions. I wonder if they will eventually catch on and start cancelling orders.
