Has anyone tried this coffee, and how is the quality of the reusable k-cups?

How does subscribe and save work? After I order this for $17 can I cancel the subscription right away to avoid any more costs?

Do not cancel right away, wait until after it ships or later, you can select to have it shipped every 6 months so you will have plenty of time to cancel the option should you want

Ekobrew quality is good. just make sure you dont overfill it, right on the line where plastic body starts (and net ends) is fine for the large cup setting.

also, if you use too fine grind, it may seep a few grounds to the cup - which is true for pretty much anything else anyway.

Community coffee is alright, it's no pike place roast or anything, but will do the job just fine - I personally find it better than store brands (like GV or kirkland) or folgers . Two ekobrew is worth the 17 bucks anyway.

It works well. There is actually a line where it tells you not to fill passed it.

The pointed nozzle that pierces the K-Cups on the bottom when you pop it in can get caught on the designated area of the Ekobrew. Take care each time trying to square it up so you avoid slowly degrading the bottom plastic of the Ekobrew or a small tear/hole will develop and you will start to see fine grinds in your coffee.

I have a couple of bags of Community coffee from a previous ekobrew deal and I'm not impressed. I'll also say that ekobrew is extremely sensitive to the grind. While the community drip grind works fine, I have another bag off of the shelf drip grind that causes serious clogging and overflow in my keurig. one of my initial ekobrews leaked regardless of grind and they were quick to send me a new one absolutely free, but overall I am not that impressed. The o-rings on the cups seem to loosen up almost immediately, making me wonder if it's just a matter of (short) time before all of them leak.

Anyone want to remind me how to grind coffee perfectly for the Ekobrew? I believe I read a setting of "8" in another SD thread. Anyone successful with a blade grinder? I'm not sure I can justify a burr grinder. Thanks.

been waiting for a deal on Ekobrew. Had the 4 cups for $33 in my cart forever hoping the price would drop but now glad it didn't because 2 cups are more than sufficient for my needs and I don't mind putting regular coffee in a green decaf holder either. So for $17 I get not only the 2 cups but a # of coffee to boot!
