Appropriate "tip" for a construction manager??
I am in the process of building a home (large subdivision with multiple new builds) and met with construction manager on site yesterday to go over where we are in the process. Things look great and he's a very nice guy. During the conversation he pretty clearly alluded to the fact he could "get some extra things done" around the home and that "cash is king".
So, I'm meeting him again this afternoon to finalize some paperwork and am curious if anyone has been through this process and if they "tipped" their construction manager and what is fair to expect? And how much?
My thought would be start off with a couple hundred dollar handshake to get the conversation moving and then hopefully it may open to more exact details as to what "he could get done".
Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated.
