90 day warranty is horrible.. 900.00 time bomb Most likely it will fail.. and when it does? You pay a 300~500 repair bill.. Just go ahead and buy a sony or samsung.. get a better tv too..

The flashlighting/clouding and poor backlight uniformity from the edge-lit design in these sets was unbelievable. I only had the 52" version, but at 60" it will only get worse. Do yourself a favor and buy something else

I bought this from TD last week and they did offer extended warranty through SquareTrader. I ended up buying directly from ST for less with the 30% off coupon.

Now soo many of these refurb showing up is starting to worry me. How many bad TV did Sharp get?

Pretty sure this is the tv i got from best buy last year for $999 delivered NIB.. other than the set not handshaking correctly with my uverse box (googled issue and solved with a $10 hdmi adapter) I have been extremely pleased with the picture-- This is my 2nd sharp (also have a 42" from 5 years ago) and am okay paying less for what some deem a lesser brand-- looks great to me and when my 10 + 6 y/o's chuck a football at it im only out a grand as opposed to 2...
