Sounds like you don't mind paying good money for ear buds so I'll thrown a recommendation out there for you. I also have the monster gold turbines - I enjoy the sound but they never stay in my ears when I go on jogs (no matter what size rubber ear bud attachment I use). I recently picked up the Bose IE2 [amazon.com] earbuds and they're the best I've found, particularly for running. They have a special attachment that keep the earbuds in place and are comfortable enough that you don't really notice you have them on.

how are these for gym use?

Got them but did not need them like others. I have a $10 walmart pair that work fine for what I need, movies, games, etc on a tablet. With some luck these will be a good jump in sound quality and I did not waste $20.

I bought the 485s from Newegg at the end of January and the package included the red carrying bag with the headphones.

I'm not an audiophile, but I have been very satisfied with the CX 485s. Also, I have small ears and before buying this pair, I have never been able to comfortably wear in-ear headphones. In the past, even if I was able to get a pair of earphones in (which was rare), they would fall out soon after. That doesn't happen with this pair, so there is some truth to the "designed for smaller ears" marketing.

Thank OP, in for one hoping for the comfort described above.

Ive always had bad experiences with in ear buds constantly falling out, how do these do? Any recommendations for buds with built in button for skipping tracks?
