G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600 or 10666) Desktop Memory $32.29 + Free Shipping - Great for N40L Proliant Microserver
I was looking for some cheap, high quality (NO REBATE) RAM for my HP N40L Microserver. No, it's not ECC, but I don't think ECC is worth it for home use. Especially not when using RAM of this quality. This is the cheapest memory I could find that still received good reviews.
In fact, this RAM receives excellent reviews. Probably among the best for any memory sold at Newegg and far better than a lot of RAM that is much more expensive. If you need high quality dual channel DDR3 for a non-overclocked build, this is what I'd recommend.
There are two models, the 15% promo code works with both. Either should work well with any systems requiring DDR3 1333 memory. One is 10666, the other is 10600. My research suggests that these numbers are effectively the same, you can buy either, though HP suggests 10600 for the N40L.
