My 5850 works fine for BF3 on high but... dang dude. CA no tax $190? I was going to wait for 7xxx series to dip down at least $100 but here goes $190/$225 of my month's entertainment money!  But wait. I can sell my old card for $100!

if u wait it goes lower, that's the norm
 the 660/670 are coming out aka why many of these 5xx cards are dipping down. I heard the 670 will be in the 3xx range and assuming 660 being in the high 2xx range. Definitely speed boost increase going with the 6xx, but note the higher price, though again another thing to think about is the power saving. If you keep your pc on 24/7 for a year like I do, this may come out to be more than a couple bucks in a year!
