Just checked again and mine is shipped with a USPS tracking number. Looks like we are good to go.

looks like their system updated, so it's probably automated.
shipped/shipped, tracking#'s for both (neither actually have info). Lets see if it can make it past tomorrow morning, when all the CEO's wake up. |

Both shipped for me too, separately, with tracking numbers provided. Got in on the deal within the first few hours of the posting.
The ironically disappointed "no hdmi" joke was entertaining in 2010, growing a bit stale by 2011, became embarrassing to see it still being used in 2012, and now... downright pathetic in 2013. Don't be that guy.

The software portion was cancelled for me but the DVD player shipped (the E-mail showed up yesterday - Easter Sunday). I live chatted with Newegg. They said that I have two options: 1) refuse delivery or 2) if I can't - such as I'm not here when it is delivered - call for a return. Then they will send a return postage label. When I asked if I was going to have to pay for the return shipping, they agreed to put a note on the order, saying that I would not have to do that. They are also putting a note on the order that I will not have to pay a restocking fee because I did not want the DVD player without the software.
I've not had any problems with Newegg in the past. While I'm not pleased that they split the shipping order, enabling cancellation of the software without cancellation of the DVD player, I'll continue to order from them as long as they do as they promised.
