High school girl paints mural of a boy growing up into adulthood and it gets censored - VIDEO

Last time I checked marriage was recognized by the state... or is there some other image in there that I'm missing?

What's the drop out rate for the school? I would imagine that the image of the boy graduating would be equally as offensive to those who choose an alternative lifestyle and don't bother to. Carrying a guitar? What is he some punk rocker? Someone's gonna take offense to that. The mural will end up looking like the progression of man represented by restroom symbols that are gender neutral, white and void of any physical features. Oh, wait, they are white. Guess the mural is out the window.

I don't think there's anything wrong with a mural showing married men or women. Where I live, there are straight and gay families, and they have kids, so it's pretty common.

I grew up without a father. I would have certainly been better off with two happy, loving mothers than one overworked, frazzled mother. And my mother probably would have been happier, too, at least if she were gay.

i dont argue that one bit. I have no issue with homosexual rights or families. i got no beef with that and already said that I agree with gay marriage, not even Obama supports that. the point is that schools are not the place to promote gay lifestyles.
