ive noticed some targets still have the limited editions. they have the same sku. if you find one at target just buy it and return the best buy one with the target receipt. the reason target seems to have them is because they put them in protective case on the security chain but pull from inside the cabinet when someone wants to buy. the one in front is usually the limited one, if that makes any sense

Finally got my game in the mail from BB, but it was regular/standard edition and not limited as stated on their website. I called their cs # and told them my issue. None of the stores near me had LE's in stock, just regular ones. So my rep said since there is still 35 LE left in their inventory, she'll get one sent out via next day delivery. She said she'll send me a mailing label via email to return the standard copy. I guess the only thing left to do now is to see if the one arriving on Tuesday is a LE or they farked up on skuing.

edit 2: cs called back to today to check on the status of the 2nd shipment. told her its still not a LE, and she gladly offered $10 refund on the game or full refund if i return it. i took the $10 refund option, so i got it 29.99+tax. this doesnt include the $5 off for future purchase that i also got for my inconvenience

Yes, it is worth the money.... however, since I wanted to get the limited edition with Twisted Metal Black i went for pick up, verified it was the incorrect game, and i called it in to cancel.

Just got my copy from Amazon, and it's the Limited Edition!

Why didn't you just order it from Amazon? You would get free shipping and possibly save some money on tax.

I got mine in last week and it was the LE.

cause amazon didnt indicate it was a LE. sucks for me cause amazon's back at 49.99. the cs rep sent me a $5 off coupon that expires in 1 month for my inconvenience and said if the 2nd shipment is still not a LE, she'd give me a full refund. she also said she'll send me out a mailing label via email to mail back the first copy but i have yet to receive that. i'm hope she forgot lol
