I second caven's comments. Whatever you do, do NOT even attempt to get any more lines of credit until you complete your house purchase. There are horror stories of people who did just that and weren't able to close because the financing fell through due to people no longer meeting the requirements.

Once that's done however, getting 0% interest for 12-24 months is easy. Most furniture stores offer this directly through their own financing company (and sometimes the terms are better then what you would get with a generic CC). But all the banks will usually have some promotion.

Another word of caution - if you go with the direct financing option, most of the time the terms specify that if you do not completely pay off the balance by the end of the promotional period, ALL accrued interest will be applied (usually at 29.9%). Be careful and make sure you read the fine print, otherwise you could get nailed.
