Good deal, but if you have anything wrong with your car it will fail. Windshield cracks, head or tail light lens damage, wiper blades, CEL, etc.
Inspection only shops key in on stuff they can fix quickly at their shops |

Cost of inspection is regulated by the state/county. 55% off is illegal.

Texas sets maximum charges, but I am not aware of any regulation preventing discounts. See 37 TX ADC 23.73. [tx.us] Especially subsection (b)(4)... "The fee, or any portion of the fee, may be waived, or payment deferred, provided advance payment for certificates issued has been made to the department." |

You've got me there... The company providing the service must've paid the discount they are offering. Sounds like bad business to me.
