I am already having buyer's remorse after reading the reviews and watching some videos online. I watched a youtube video where the guy was showing windows 8 on the inspiron one and it was absolutely terrible. He kept swiping the screen and it wont find the magic pixel, finally he had to use the mouse to find it. |

But really. If you don't like it... dump it on craigslist. You should get what you paid for it if you got the cheap version. Plus a 1 year warranty. Ben B~

I ordered 2320 on Apr 10, shipped on Apr 11 from NASHVILLE, TN and will arrive tomorrow ( Apr 13), earlier than the expected delivery date showed on Dell website (Apr 16)...

And the swiping he was doing SHOULD have made things happen (example in the 3-4 min when he was on weather widget). I was at CES 2012 and watched a lot of Win 8 / Metro stuff, and those gestures should have brought up menus, gone back to the main screen, etc. Dunno if OS or hardware problem though. They just pushed back my delivery date from today (4/12) to 4/17. I guess they need to try and buff out the scratches a bit more?
 But really... I don't get it. If it's a S&D unit... what's the delay for?

Anyways... ill be getting Windows 8 loaded on mine. Hopefully it runs well. I was also going to upgrade to 8gb of RAM (2 slots) if that's not too hard to access on this machine. I'll take a video and post it up on youtube after I get it installed if that would be something that you SD folks would like to see. Dell has me set for Next Day shipping. I just hope it magically ships before the end of the day today so I can get it tomorrow and have the weekend to play with it. My work week is too busy :[ |
